Coding 2.1

Image
Greeting my surfs.       It is unfortunate.  In the evening of yesterday, I was unable to preform my coding.  I was working upon my scripture that tells a tale of a land of fiction, but the time had flown by.  I had begun my labor upon retiring to my abode after my studies at the academy.  But before I could realize, it was almost moon high!  I had toiled the day away, with no efforts put towards the coding.  I hadn't even opened the tome that holds the runes I am to be studying.  I was a fool!  More foolish than the lowest jester.  But I promise to you, my subjects, that I will practice these runes, more so than this week, to hold a better grasp of the spell craft that creates images and words.     However, though it has been more than year, maybe even two years, since I've peered into the tome that will assist me, I have vague knowledge.  The spell craft requires a electronic spirit known as Atom, I ...

Coding 2.0

Hey there friends,     The first genius hour is gone and the second one is here.  This time I'm learning coding.  Why coding you may ask?  I plan on becoming a programmer in the future and coding would probably be useful for a programming career.  I have a book called Gamer's Guide to Coding , or something like that.  I obtained this book for Christmas two years ago but have barely used it.     I plan to use this book a few hours a week to practice coding.  The book uses a program called "Atom" if I recall correctly.  I will practice typing code until I can code something by myself.  At that point, I will be successful.  The issue is I don't know to what scale of programming the book goes through, so the finally project will be determined at a later date.                  Until next week                     ...

Morse Code. Epilogue

Agony Pain The suffering ends.  The dark rooms of audible pain of beeps.  The sound of Hell echoing in my head.  But there is light.  I beacon of hope that engulfs my vision and brings peaceful silence to my ears.  The end of the first Genius Hour project.  There is peace.  I can enjoy raisin bran in the morning, but there is still the Pavlov effect of the ringing will return with the taste of raisins and bran.  I have sat at the table to long looking at dots and dashes.  Ears bleeding and eyes crying. This is my final message. Goodbye.          - •-• •- -•• •

Morse Code

Good Evening.     The end is nigh.  The agonizing beeps end and the curtain is on the brink of falling.  This is the second to last blog, and with it, the end to Morse code.  I've been suffering the ear-ringing beeps.  The sound of insanity playing over and over, telling me I'm wrong.  Taunting me, it makes me a fool as dots don't exist audibly and dash are the dots.  Then it makes my ears ring, giving me a handicap where I need to be in my best performance.  But that will end.  I will uninstall MorseMania so it can return to the Hell it crawled out of, probably Brazil or Ohio.  Once that is gone, I will probably never look at Morse code again.     However, I will keep up with the alphabet and a least know that, but I will never actively practice again. That is all and remember, - •- • --- •-• -•   •• •••   - •••• •   •-• --- --- -   --- ••-•   •- •-•• •-••  ...

--• •-• • • - •• -• --• •••   ••-• •-• •• • -• -•• •••     If you couldn't tell by the title and greeting, I've done it.  I've memorized the entire alphabet in Morse code.  The struggle is complete.  I finished my harrowing tale to learn the Code of Morse.  Breakfasts filled with struggle, strife, and raisin bran.  Six weeks of pain, sorrow, and some opium in my muffins for this moment.  However, this tales ends, but it is not the end of the story.  This has only been Act I.  Act II to comes with the remaining weeks.  The plan shifts from flashcards to the original plan of MorseMania.  The audio induced suffering will commence.  The few remaining weeks will be a possibly fruitless struggle to learn the ear-ringing audible Morse code.  There will be blood, sweat, and tears; milk, raisins, and bran.  A less than dramatic performance with captivate no one ...

Morse Code 1.5

Приветствую вас, товарищи!     I don't have much to say so I'm gonna try to milk this as much as possible.  I continued to practice over breakfast, as I do.  I've got almost the whole alphabet down other than letters like F, L, G, W, and V.  I need to look over the digits again as I'm feel a lack of confidence in my digits, even though they are easy.  I plan to continue my flash cards until next week.  I'm certain I can finish the alphabet by next Thursday.  After that point, I will return to the trust MorseMania app.  I will suffer in the audible pain that is trying to discern  the difference of dashes that sound like dots and dots that are almost instant.  My breakfast has remained as raisin bran, but mini spooners and a slice of cheese has acted in an alterative.  Other than that, I have nothing left to say.  I will end my blog here.  Definitely  here.  I am not stalling to make my blog seem longer...

Morse Code 1.4

Minasan, kon'nichiwa     This week, I've have learned a valuable lesson.  With the three day week and no Genius Hour, I was thrilled to not have to practice my Morse code over my breakfast.  I enjoyed my usual raisin bran, but that was short lived.  Monday morning came and I sat down, ready to eat and practice my Morse code.  The problem was I had forgotten some of the letters.  I sat there, staring blankly at my flash cards thinking, "I know these." I learned skipping weeks is a bad idea.  Will I skip a week again if the opportunity presents itself? Heck yeah. Will I regret it later?  Of course.  This was a lesson learned but not utilized.       This week I've been practicing naming the letter of each dot-dash combination and vice versa.  I plan to try and have the alphabet memorized by the end of the week.  I will fight my brain, that doesn't want to practice less than five minutes after waking ...
